Yesterday, Lupe Fiasco released the visuals for his 2006 hit (and my favorite song) “It Just Might Be Okay”. Though some people are wondering why the Chicago rapper waited so long to drop a video for a song on Food & Liquor, it was right on time. The powerful video, directed by Chris & Blaq , showed the Chicago neighborhood exactly the way it is, not the way the media portrays it. It was refreshing to see the people of the neighborhood in a position light. The video ends with Chicago residents showing with Baltimore in a peaceful protest for Freddie Gray.
